Step 1: Search for sites or tools online that you may use to find people or to do reverse searches. If you want to locate these sites, try to search for people search, reverse lookup online or email finder. You just need to follow the instructions that you will see on the websites that you have chosen to use. There will be some websites that will ask for registration and some sites that will offer free services while some will charge a certain fee.

Step 2: Enter the person’s name of the email address that you want to locate in search engines. People usually use their email address online that this might be the best option for you to find a person’s email address. You may choose to use a variety of search engines so you can get more results.

Step 3: You may also want to try searching social networking sites as these sites may be able to provide you the email address of the person that you like to find. You just have to use the name of the person when searching for their email address on any of the sites.

Step 4: If you have other information about the person whose email address that you want to find, use it as well. You can try searching for the company that they are working for and you might have a chance of locating the person’s email address.

Use the site mylife – this site will go through a variety of social networking websites all at once. Mylife will also be able to give you details such as the address, phone number or the company that the person is working for. Know the details. For sure when you receive this kind of email the person who sent it to you will indicate his name on the mail. Try searching for his name first. Most likely, you will not get information about this person.

Since the name on the email is not eligible. Do the unthinkable – use his email address to search on the web. If he is using a Google or Yahoo email account – search for his email address on these websites. Chances are, you will find out the name registered under this email address.

Email addresses are commonly used and are most likely to be posted on different websites. There are different email addresses that you can find on different sites online like blogs, home pages, and others. If you are searching for a certain email address and this email address is posted on a certain site, then you may be very lucky. You can just go to a major search engine like Yahoo or Google and search for the email address that you have and make sure that you have quotation marks around the email address that you have. This can make your search limited and that the search engine will only search for the exact address that you entered.

The different search engines that you can use are Ask.com, MSN.com, and Bing.com. Some search engines can not give you the same result that one can give so it is always safe to do your search different engines.

2. Search for the email address on the email provider’s site

There are some email providers that allow their users to make their own profile. And if the email address that you have belongs to any of the providers online, you may go directly to their website and get the information that you need about the person who owns the email address that you are searching for. One example of an email provider that allows users to participate in certain groups is Yahoo. This can allow a person to post profiles for other users who are also members to see.
Although the methods mentioned may be time consuming most especially if the email address you have is not on a site. This may mean that you may not use any of the methods given, however, you may use another method and that is thru social networking.

This may also take time, but if you have an email address with you, it may be easier than what you think. All you need to do is sign up for any of the social networking sites like Friendster, Facebook or MySpace – of course you may not know as to which site is the person signed up to and may have difficulty going thru each social sites one at a time – what you can do is use mylife. But of course, if you want to succeed in doing your email address search, you have to use other ways as some free sites on the web may be too old already.

Search engines that you may use are Google, Yahoo or Big foot but you just have to remember that you may have a very small chance of finding the information that you need. Doing an email search could mean doing it for free or with a free. Of course it is most likely that paid sites can give you better results than the free sites, but you still have to consider that there are a lot of effective methods out there that can help you with your search without a fee.

Let’s start with a site called mylife.com – this site is really good and is for free too. All you got to do is find the social networking site that the person is using ( Friendster, Facebook, Myspace and others).

2. Sign up for the social networking site that he is also signed up to and add him/her as a friend.

Of course, if the person does not know you, you may not have a chance of being added so you might want to fake your identity and use a profile that will attract the person that you are adding – not that I’m saying you’re not attractive, this is just for safety – then wait for the person’s approval for your request.

When accepted – continue with number 3.

3. Study the profile (Very IMPORTANT action to take)

A person who uses his social networking site regularly will have pictures of his friends, relatives and more. Here are some of the most crucial information that you can use to extract a profile of a person:

• If the person is married – the maiden name
• Relatives names
• Previous and Current Location of the person – very critical as well
• Phone numbers – which may or may not be posted on each profile
• The age of the person

How can you find these information?

Go thru the person’s list of friends and search for people who have the same family name, top friends, look thru the comments of the person’s profile and photo comments. Find out the school that the person has attended and the other communities that the person has joined to be a member of.

4. Use the name to do a background check on the person

There are different sites that you can use to do this. The site that I normally use is US search.

Now all you have to do is use the name or the age of the person since you already know these information and details thru the person’s profile. And then make use of the information that you have in step 3 so you can limit your search for the person from other people in the results that will be given to you.

You will see results of possible family members and you can use this by comparing it with the list that you have gathered or you may also use the other information that you have gathered like the locations of the person. Once you find the person – do a background check report for the person – this may cost a very minimal amount so don’t fret.

So this is how you can find out anything about the person by just having their email address. Amazing yet kinda frightening right?

Just remember that you can only have these information if the person who owns the email address has a social networking profile – which most of the population these days have.
